More than 900 people attended Brentwood Baptist Church‘s energized fashion show at the Hilton-Americas Hotel Sunday, celebrating the church’s 30th anniversary. The show, featuring spring and summer looks from Macy’s, raised more than $170,000 for college scholarships. The event was co-chaired by LaMar Frazier and Mittie Anderson State Rep. Sylvester Turner was master of ceremonies. Others in the audience included Dr. Joeand Doris Ratliff, Kristyn Page, Terri and Terrance Gee, David F. Jones,EstherBrown, Kim Roxie, Glenda Hopkins, U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, Dr. Robert and Joan Allen and state Rep. Alma Allen. The show was produced by Lenny Matuszewski and Tamara Bomar

On Sunday, April 28, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hilton-Americas Hotel for the 31st Annual Fashion Show & Luncheon hosted by Brentwood Community Foundation Scholarship Committee and Macy’s. Under the theme “Paparazzi…Flash! Flair! Fashion! “A Focus on Community,” the Brentwood Community Foundation raised dollars to promote scholars on their educational dreams.
